Alex Donlan holds the title of Design Engineer at McCollough Yachts. A native of Cape Cod, his formative years were spent on the water, fostering a passion for sailing. Alex began his studies in the shipping industry before following his passion for sailing yachts at The Landing School in Arundel, ME. He continued at Southampton Solent University in the UK where he graduated with a degree in Yacht and Powercraft Design. Alex has held a multitude of professional design engineering positions including two years of first-hand build experience at Goetz Composites in Bristol RI and design work with Brooklin Boat Yard. His experience ranges from classical wooden boat building to cutting edge aerospace and marine composites which have provided him the experience needed to be a successful, and high level contributor to McCollough Yachts.
